YOUTH RODEO
The Jim Bowie Days Youth Rodeo is an opportunity for our younger cowboys and cowgirls to compete alongside athletes their own age. We have different events and categories for kids from 0 to 19.
4D BARREL RACE
Over the years the Jim Bowie Days Rodeo Assosiation has found that we have many barrel racers that would like to take part on our festivties outside of the UPRA rodeo. As a result, these past few years we have had a 4D Barrel Race and Expos to showcase the amazing talent in the area.
UPRA RODEO
The Jim Bowie Days Rodeo is one of the largest rodeos in Texas that encourages amateur athletes to compete with UPRA sanctioned professionals. Over the years we have gathered multiple UPRA awards and always very proud to welcome our UPRA tallent to our rodeo.
QUEEN COMPETION
A rodeo queen's role has evolved from a pretty girl on horseback to a "total package" public relations ambassador for the sport. We hope you will join us to be the next Miss Jim Bowie Days and Little Miss Jim Bowie Days.
MUTTIN BUSTIN
Our annual Mutton Bustin' competitions are a long standing tradition during Jim Bowie Days with fierce competition for the limited spots available in our 2 night qualifying. The top 3 in each return for the championships on Saturday night.
FFA CALF SCRAMBLE
Jim Bowie Days Rodeo has always been a proud supporter of the County FFA originazations. To further this goal, our annual FFA calf scramble awards participating teams funds to be used in the organization's best interest.
